There's nothing like being a Carolina girl in the Fall. I took these photos at the pumpkin patch just 5 miles from our house. This is the beauty I'm blessed with everyday!

For all you city slickers, that is what we like to call a John Deere tractor. Every boy 6 months and older can spot one a mile away in these parts.

Beautiful leaves!
Here are some family photos from our trip to the pumpkin patch, which is actually a big farm with inflatable jumpers, a corn maze, a petting zoo, and lots of other fun things to explore.

On the hayride...

The corn maze was the most fun!

Ally led the way and I took a gazillion pictures because it was just so beautiful! Don't you think?

Ally was so proud that we were following her. It took a while, but she found the way out and it was a pretty big maze! I was totally lost, but she figured it out.

This picture is one of my favorites.

We visited the apple orchard and chose a big shiny apple to eat on the hayride.

And of course, we picked a pumpkin to take home.

Amber,
I was preparing for my class tonight on the Inheritance (Beth Moore) and was going to touch on her point of whether God was a giver or a taker. I googled those words to find some profound expository on the subject and was taken to your blog to a post from April of last year. Your post was just what I was looking for! THanks for that even 19 months later. It was just awesome and gave me 11 fabulous scriptures to use tonight!
Many blessings!

We love "TRACTORS!!!!" at our house. One of the exits of our town passes as tractor dealership and my son makes sure we know exactly where it is every time. We love harvest as He gets so excited to see the tractors working in the fields.
