Here's your sign...

It's no secret that I love Christmas. In fact, it is already time to start putting up the tree, if you ask me! Unfortunately, my husband doesn't always oblige to my requests to decorate so early. I begged him to let me get the tree out today actually, but he said no. He also said if I got it out of the basement while he was at work today, he would promptly throw it out into the yard upon his return home. Bah Humbug. He's such a Scrooge.

So I decided to leave him hints... little clues... subtle tips...

that HELLO-it-IS-time-TO-put-UP-the-BLESSED-christmas-TREE-you-GRINCH.

We will see how long it takes him to notice the signs.

Want to see?

There's a snowman tucked up on the mantle amidst the fall decor.

There's a snowman head stuck to the mirror in the bathroom.

His keys are hidden beneath my gingerbread man/dried apples Christmas garland.

Look closely... there's a gingerbread man tucked in this flower arrangement.

There's another Gingerbread man peaking out of the drapes!

In case he doesn't get those subtle clues, I piled all my Christmas fabric on top of his Guitar Hero stuff. *insert evil laughter here*

There's an elf waiting for him to arrive home on the entry table!

And if the man still doesn't pick up on the hints, he will certainly figure it out when he goes to bed tonight and sees his pillow tied up with a pretty Christmas ribbon, right?!

No ya'll... I'm not psychotic. But I DO love me some Christmas.

LOL! I wish I was more into the holiday decorating...but, unfortunately, I'd be TOTALLY basic if it weren't for my kids constantly prompting me! And don't worry, I'm pretty sure your hubby is going to pick up on your hints! :)

That's too funny! We don't start decorating for Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving...it's our tradition.

I love your hints. I know that family tradition is to start putting decorations up at the start of Advent. However, that has more to do with the fact that we get a real tree and they don't last very long.
