Giveaway Winner!

I know you thought I forgot, but I didn't. I've just been sick and starving (more on that later) and snowed in over the past week. But without anymore waiting, the winner of the hair bow giveaway is....

*drum roll please!!*

SARAH HINSON!! Go to One Small Reason and pick any bow you like and I'll mail it to you! :)

If you didn't win, you can still own a beautiful bow and support our adoption by shopping at One Small Reason.

We are snowed in (again) today and I am kind of glad! I came down with a cold which turned into bronchitis last week. I've just started to feel better, but I'm glad for a snowed in weekend with my family. We got a couple more inches of snow last night and now it is sleeting hard! The tree limbs are really sagging, so I wouldn't be surprised if some fall. I'm glad we have gas logs! At least we can stay warm if the power goes out.

If you are wondering why I'm starving, it is due to the fabulous South Beach Diet. I'm not actually starving, but I am coming off sugar which makes me dangerous in the eyes of most people! :) I've been riding my spin bike again. So far I have lost 9 pounds since January 1. We just started the South Beach diet yesterday though, so we will see if that speeds things up at all.

In other news, we are officially registered for our MAPPS classes to become licensed. They have completed our criminal background checks and we did our initial interviews (separately and together). We are now waiting for our paperwork to come in the mail so we can get started on that part of the home study process.

Did I mention that my kids decided to give each other haircuts on the day of our interviews? Nothing says "I want a sibling!" like home grown hair cuts by 2 year olds.

We have chosen names and we are super excited about them. If we have a girl, she will be Madelynn Anne. We will probably call her Maddie. If we have a boy, he will be James Winston. We will call him Winston.

And here is a true confession... I'm praying for twins. Specifically, I'm praying for fraternal twins: a boy and a girl. I can dream, right?

HOORAY, I'm so excited I won!!! Thanks so much for the great giveaway. I'm gonna place an order as well. This is a great time to add to Emily Margaret's girly stuff! Secondly I'm glad your back, we missed you. Lastly, I'm with you on the twins. I asked Andy if I could mark the twin/sibling pair section on our checklist. His response was "Don't push the MAYBE, baby!" I would bring home triplets but he's happy with one. I'm hoping I can live vicariously through you! ;> Thanks again for the prize. Enjoy the snow... I always like to be snowed in with my family!
God's blessings,
Sarah :D

I'm so excited for y'all! The name Madelynn is beautiful! But, I'm prejudiced you see; I have a Madelaine Ashley. Winston is adorable - I think of Winston Churchill for some reason ;) Dream about the fraternals girlfriend! I'll pray with ya!
